A Square of Red

The local botanical garden doesn't seem to have as many blooms this year, but perhaps it will get better. Along with the flowers, there is an osprey nest.

6 of us for dinner tonight as I cooked fish, both cod and pollock. It was good. A candle is now burning in the kitchen, as it smells like I cooked fish in there.

At about 8 p.m., I opened my phone to the Publix (a grocery chain) app, only to discover that I was due a birthday present. WOO-HOO! Since the offer was expiring tomorrow, I jumped in my car to pick up my gift. I had the choice between a 1/2 gallon of ice cream or a small cake. I chose the cake, getting a carrot cake with a carrot on top made of frosting. WOO-HOO!
