Barbara Castle!

On this international womens day I took a photo of the
Barbara Castle statue which is situated outside the college at Blackburn. What a wonderful clever woman she was.
I saw her once years ago when she was sat on a bench in the central lobby.
I was at the Houses of Parliament on a visit with the Mayor.
She was tiny!
