Silly Saturday

This wooden jigsaw was a Christmas present to my Editor (not by me I hasten to say!). It may have only 255 pieces, but it took her quite a long time to complete it: the pieces are tiny and are all sorts of silly different shapes - and it doesn't even have straight sides to make it easier. Was she silly to attempt it? - Probably! But she persevered.

It's rather a silly picture too of course. And the silly thing about jigsaws is that, after all the effort of putting them together, one generally takes them apart again!

Anyway it proved useful for today's Silly Saturday challenge (postponed from last weekend) in memory (of course) of Admirer.
