Dragon Bridge

We took a cab to Danang after breakfast for our final stop – dropping off our bags before walking over the Dragon Bridge to the Museum of Cham Sculpture, which was excellent. Then, after checking into our very nice hotel, we went to the beach for a couple of hours to make use of some of the sunshine that has finally arrived in the last couple of days.  Danang is quite sprawling but luckily Beck downloaded Grab, the Southeast Asian version of Uber, to get a cheaper cab from Hoi An and it turned out to be a very convenient way of getting around: back from the museum, even out to a restaurant later where we had some really good pancakes and fried rice. We walked back to the hotel, though, along the seafront, stopping off for drinks along the way…
