Awake to find out the Glastonbury lineup. Whooo hooo! Quite decent - I mean, hidden away in there is Burning Spear! Black Uhuru! And… John Fogerty! Yasssss. I can sing along and I already know all the words. Where’s my straw hat?
Off to the dump, and then B&Q to get some manure as my strawberry plants have arrived. 
Later, out to Everyman to see I’m Still Here which won an Oscar for the Best International Feature Film. A sad, sad tale which is quite brilliantly acted. 
But back to here and now - what’s going on? I mean, why are my equities on the slide again?
The stock market just capped off its worst weekly decline in six months.  as investors dealt with the political realities of President Donald Trump's administration. Uncertainties related to tariffs, the federal government's DOGE-induced layoffs, and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent's forecast of a "detox period" for the US economy drove investors into risk-off mode.
Whaaaaat? I thought he was my friend! He's half Scottish. We care about these things!
