Sunshine, Early Spring

A rare, for me, midday shot, as I had plans for the afternoon. Right about freezing, on a sunny, early spring day. Yesterday's snow, still sitting on the ice, bright white in the sunshine.

I liked the curve of the patch of snow in the foreground. I chose a higher perspective than of late, to keep its shape and see beyond the reeds. The houses on the far shore appear closer because of the longer lens.

Extra: Border Patrol. Ice holding out along the shore.
