Skylarks
I walked into town first thing for the normal Saturday fare. I needed a fleece over my t-shirt as it hadn't yet warmed up, but it was already sunny. Then I drove to Weybourne to see if I could see some skylarks. They generally weren't perching, although I did get these two shots. I love to hear them singing high up above their territory, and I also like the burbling sound they make in their nest on the ground. Another lovely sunny day with a bit more wind than there has been and a temp of 17.5C. This afternoon I did a little more in the wildflower area, turning the top of the soil over and removing the weeds. I am pacing myself though, I've been caught out before doing too much gardening at the start of the season.
