Charles Jencks Landform
Was the March meeting of our "2nd Saturday Strollers" walking-group today; and we undertook an entirely city-based route from Shandon, right across town, finishing at Canonmills ...
... I know I may be just a little biased, but Edinburgh was looking really glorious in the very welcome Spring sunshine - from the Union Canal, to Roseburn Park, along the Water of Leith Walkway, up to the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, across Dean Cemetery, down to Dean Village, then through Stockbridge, across Inverleith Park, through The Botanic Gardens, along to Canonmills - every location seemed a real gem :-)
And we even manged to fit in some post-walk refreshments at 'The Orchard Bar' - all made for a most enjoyable day!
The snap shows the Charles Jencks Landform, located at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art.
