Pink roses 2

I’ve been given 2 pots of pink roses in the last week. I’ve been trying to think which flower would symbolise my mother most. Perhaps something wild….she was more interested in birds than plants , I think, certainly in the last 40 years.

I’ve been very tired today, but have managed to do a load of washing and hang it up outside; spend time with a friend; walk to town and and shop; make dinner, AND hire a cat sitter for the time we’ll be away!
I did not want to have to put Indie in a cattery. She seemed well pleased with the person who popped round today. I hope they’ll be happy together.
