New strings

I bought this bass from the Rock Shop in Camden Town in 1982. It had a lot of use in initially as I practiced with my wannabe rock band in North London Poly.

Since then I have treasured it and occasionally picked it up to play along with songs on the stereo. Anyway I pulled it out for a polish and was a bit ashamed to see the original strings still on it after more than 40 years. So a thorough clean and new strings - makes it sound so much brighter. They don’t make them like this any more.
