Teal

In the morning I went to another meeting of WIFIE, the women's photography group that I belong to, at the building housing artists' studios, which is now called Scot-ART. We are still working out a new structure and today we seemed to go right back to the beginning again. We will need more meetings but we agreed that we wouldn't need to discuss membership again - although I'm not holding too much hope over that! We then had lunch together - just our own packed lunches in the common area which was a nice thing to do after our intense discussions.  

In the afternoon I went to Blackford Pond on my way home, mostly to see if there were any swans - which there weren't. It doesn't look as if there will be any cygnets this year. However, there was a pair of teal, this is the male, isn't he handsome? Maybe there will be some tiny teal duckings!
