short-eared owl

had a fabulous afternoon 'owling' with fellow blipper HelenJG and a couple of friends. I've never photographed owls before and struggled with getting them in focus. Also most were a little too far away for my lens . had great fun though trying to spot and capture them and having another go at it tomorrow.
