Hue

Absolutely beautiful scenery. We traveled from Hoi An to Hue via the Hai Van Pass which was stunning. It's what separates the South from the North and we could feel the difference in climate, the North is far hotter! This view was part of a motorbike tour of the town.

The ride was great fun, racing through packed streets, motorways, out into the countryside, through a narrow graveyard path, the forest and the back streets. Tien Mu Pagoda was very peaceful, at odds with it's violent past. We learnt how incense and conical hats are made and visited a Queen's tomb. Fantastic light and weather today so it was hard to pick just one photo.

(Sort of) new food: deep fried savoury pancakes.
