Few-Flowered Leek
The Few-Flowered Leek, Allium paradoxum, is a highly invasive alien species of garlic that can totally take over a suitable habitat as here.
My 'extra' shows it completely carpeting the banks on both sides of a woodland path where it produces a monoculture bllanket that prevents/smothers native spring plants from growing.
It is just starting to flower now but in a week or so, the green carpet will be spattered with white.
Do not take it into your own garden or you will never get rid of it.
All parts are edible.
