Pelousey

Murron went to the Boulangerie to buy bread and croissants. She was determined to ask in french and she coped beautifully - even when the lady told her there were only 3 pain au Chocolat left and she had to choose something else. She opted for one filled with raspberry and we returned to enjoy another lazy breakfast, before driving to Pelousey where we were all invited to lunch with my Aunt. It was a scorcher of a day and we sat outside on the terrace overlooking the garden. Françoise is always a terrific hostess, preparing course after course of delicious food. We had champagne to start which went straight to my head. Very quickly!

After lunch Françoise accompanied us to see her son Stéphane and his family where another bottle of champagne was opened.... :)
