After a lovely breakfast yesterday we set off for Joshua tree National Park in California. It was a long desert drive. We stopped at a one shop town on route 66. There were 2 cyclists from the uk cycling to Patagonia!! They were British just packed their jobs in for an adventure. When we arrived in twenty nine palms we went to meet Heather , Wayne’s cousin who took us to the yurts. They are authentic Mongolian yurts beautiful doors. It’s an outside shower and toilet and only cold water sink!!!! I’m going to be dirty. We had a lovely meal then back to the yurts. The wind was ferocious and it was so cold. The complete opposite to Las Vegas.
