this is a back blip

we went for a walk around at Insh Marshes with Dr Tom Prescot of the Butterfly Conservation Trust. It was fantastic, I always though the colourful ones were butterflies but this moth shows not.

A and R were stars, A caught lots of ringlets and R caught a spider. I even caught a frog. There had been a couple of moth traps left out over night and they were full of some of the most beautiful moths.
Even the dung beetles are beautiful, if you turn over they have a very beautiful purple underbelly.

It was just a great day out.
