Cranbrook
I jumped in the car to get some air, and to take advantage of this glorious weather. I ended up having a stroll around Cranbrook. This is Vestry Hall, the Cranbrook and Sissinghurst parish council office. It was built with the town courthouse on the first floor, and the fire station below, in 1859. Previously a room at The George Hotel, just across the road, was used as the courthouse. In 1573 Queen Elizabeth I popped into The George, Edward I is thought to have stayed there in 1299.
So that's Cranbrook for you, and I've not mentioned the school!
