Tried to get in for cocktails the previous evening but were told since the roof top bar was closed due to expectant rain we should go back in the morning at 11.
00.
We had to wait until until 11 precisely to gain access. Our bags went through a scanner and we walked through a security devise. It's a magnificent hotel and the grounds were pristine.
The cocktail bar ( inside) was fabulous and the boutiques designer. A Gallery of photos and comments from the rich and famous was interesting too.
No photos of the lobby allowed.
We decided the staff too up themselves so we didn't bother with coffee.
