Sleeping in style

We received some Mr & Mrs Smith vouchers as a wedding present, which was a great gift from Laura's uni friends.

And decided to use them at a fantastic boutique hotel in Wester Ross called The Pool House. With only five rooms and views of Loch Ewe, it is in a perfect setting. While having a pre dinner sherry in our lounge we could see a seal in the waters edge which was pretty cool.

The family who own the property collect antique furniture, including this four poster bed. I think it is the grandest and maybe oldest bed I have ever slept in.
