Hawthorn Tree

Out on the common this morning after coffee and cake in the cafe and a visit to the garden centre. The fine weather had brought many people out, but plenty of space here for all. The ground has dried out a lot and  I felt a spring in my step. The light is brighter and the spaces between the bare trees seem wider.
