Pleach

The visibility was less than 50 metres this morning and even when we went to church it was difficult to see the play area less than 100 metres distant in the top photo.   By mid afternoon the sun was breaking through the mist so we went for a walk around Prestonhall to see the large banks of snowdrops which are still looking spectacular together with clumps of primroses on the driveway through the wood. The large photo is an attempt to show the trees in the mist which never totally cleared although not far to the south there was blue sky for most of the day.  Now the very thick haar (sea fog) has descended again.
