Faded Lady!

I think this is a Painted Lady butterfly! The poor thing has obviously been through the wars!

The wings are so thin they are almost transparent & nearly all the colour seems to have been 'washed' away!

That said ....... he/she was busily feeding on the Buddleia for over an hour!

Got to dash ....... time to take my neighbour shopping ....... sorry if I haven't had time to visit your journal today ...... I will catch up with anyone I've missed later in the week.
