Our day in blips

Blessed with fine weather our day began with some beautiful views and sounds of dawn breaking.
Song thrushes abound, we heard the first chiff chaff, saw and heard bullfinches, greenfinches, a kestrel looking for its first meal of the day and many others.
Back for a light breakfast before preparing a picnic and heading out to the south west coast path for the day. I was surprised by how few people were out, even at Clovelly just 15 people by midday. The traffic along the route suggested otherwise.?
Those that were out were mostly keen to socialise, we met some lovely folks with fascinating stories and some lively canines
The donkeys were all happy to have their noses scratched before being lead out to a meadow.
Beef casserole was warmed up for supper enjoyed by us both.
