Signs of Spring

Today was the last of the blue skies for a while and apparently it will be back to gloom and colder temperatures next week for SE England.
Today however it was still bright and Spring like with the garden showing signs of impending life.  The Pasque flowers which I  have photographed often before, know that their is cold weather to come and still have on their fur coats but the roses were making a bid for it with new leafy growth everywhere.  Pictured is one of those roses.  If you look carefully you can see the tiny thorns on the stems.
