Cors Bodgynedd

Feeling a bit ‘down’ today, I’m whisked off to Cors Bodgynydd by the lovely G. As I’ve said before, this is a magical little reserve, particularly on a sunny day like this. It’s amazingly warm for early March, and we sit by the side of the lake enjoying the light and the sound of birdsong. The view across the lake to the mountains is gorgeous.

The two Carneddau ponies who are ‘employed’ to maintain the wetland landscape by their gentle grazing, and today’s they’re both feeding down towards the lake shore.

My main today’s a mono rim lit shot of one of the ponies, with a wide view extra of the rather sad looking grey against the mountain backdrop.
