Floating Feather

Down the side of the house there is a messy area by the recycling boxes which I keep meaning to tidy up. However today it produced a blip for Mono Monday. As I was depositing a few (recently emptied) beer bottles I saw this feather floating on the surface of some water in an old storage crate. It must have been left behind by an unknown bird, and I thought it looked blippable decorated with some left behind raindrops from this morning's shower. It was almost mono before the SilverEfex edit. 

More water this evening at camera club, a water splash and droplet practical night.

In other news we have booked flights and the hotel for a short trip to Munich next month.
