Boules and Butterflies

Butterflies fooled by
boules, as they arc through the air:
we throw them false hope.

Butterflies mating;
soft breezes knock them sideways,
the power of love.

Amazing how butterflies chase boules in flight - briefly seeing them as mates. This one is a female Large White (Pieris brassicae) - or Cabbage White - as prolific this August as the Small White (Pieris rapae).

Pleasantly warm and sunny today, with a gentle breeze and lovely cirrocumulus sky (which was my other blip-choice today).
