A sunny morning so I made an early start arriving in Keswick before 8.30. Parked in my usual 2 hour roadside spot and did the usual circuit. Finished at Booths for a cappuccino but decided against a cooked breakfast after the length of time it took them to make it last time I was in the cafe.

Then a bit of grocery shopping* in the store and a walk back to the car. By this time the blue sky had been replaced with grey clouds. Over Dunmail Raise it was sunny again and the blue sky stayed all afternoon. I’ve checked a Keswick webcam a few times and it stayed cloudy there.

A hazy Catbells in the main and in extras a colourful corner that I passed walking through town to the lake.

* I was going to buy a loose croissant for my breakfast when I got home. £1.15 for one or £2 for four. Three are in the freezer.
