Having breakfast

A pine warbler and a downy woodpecker stopped by for a meal.   The hermit thrush is still coming and I suspect it may have a nest somewhere in the woods.   

A rainy day today which is okay with me as my sprouting zinnias need it.  I hope to get out in the yard tomorrow when it stops raining to clean out the last flower bed and do some sowing of seeds.

Off to lunch with my friend Shirley who has a birthday near mine.  We started work at the electric cooperative a month apart...45+ years ago.
Time just keeps on marching on.   She is 10 years older than me and still works 3 days a week!
