Commemorations boat

It's a grey but fairly warm hazy day and I had the usual sprint cycle class at the gym.  I returned home for breakfast and a chat with two of my husbands friends who were pouring over maps discussing plans and cycle routes for a short break in summer.

In the afternoon we both headed into town where I posted a birthday present to a friend and then had a quick stroll along the beach where I spotted this commemorations boat.  It looked rather attractive with the sprint flowers in bloom, see extra.  I realised it fits the theme of left behind for todays mono Monday.  The boat being stranded on the beach. It also has commemoration plaques on it.
