Gongoozling by Bus

Today I started another bus pass adventure. The plan is to follow the route of the Leeds - Liverpool canal as closely as I can, travelling by bus. I got the train to Liverpool and set off by bus, travelling via Ormskirk and Skelmersdale, but chose the bus routes that stuck most closely to the canal. Of course that made it a slow route, but ubiquitous road works slowed me down even further. I am spending the night in Wigan - my dad’s birthplace before crossing the Pennines tomorrow
