When I'm Washing Bus Shelters
A cold wind, cloudy morning with showers, wintry at times. The skies did clear at times, some lovely spells of sunshine. Calmer and dry this evening.
A new week, I started on glass recycling first thing with Mikey. I moved onto cleaning bus shelters the rest of the day, on my own. Popped by Laura's for lunch, mam was along too. Potted up some strawberries in the greenhouse after work. Working in the shop this evening, a steady night of customers. Feet up before bed.
A new job for the day, cleaning bus shelters. The main job was to pressure wash them, inside and out. Take the brush and scrub any hard to remove bits. There was also a general tidy around them, including digging away the overgrown grasses. Finally some disinfectant. All was going good, until the pressure washer suddenly stopped, a quick trip back to Lerwick and the boys sorted me out. This was one of the many cleared today, although snapped before I started, I maybe should have had the clean bus shelter. Taken at Hoswick, Sandwick.
