Mono Monday - Mineral

I must say I struggled to find minerals around the house so I ended up with an ammonite and a pumice stone. The treatment with the black background helped in focusing the attention on the textural qualities of the items. The whole exercise reminded me very much of the Twenty Questions radio programme where animal?vegetable or mineral was always the first question.  I have just realised that I have managed to transpose the challenge for Tiny Tuesday to Mono Monday. Never mind I will stick with this image as ir does look much better in mono.
