High Drama!

When we walked up from the car park to the Kelpies this morning we discovered an attempted murder! Two swans (a pair) were attacking a third swan which had strayed into their territory. After several tense minutes, the interloper broke free and clambered up the canal bank to hide up and nurse his(her?) bruises. It certainly doesn’t pay to upset nesting swans!
After yesterday’s sunshine, it was back to cloudy skies and a very chilly east wind today. Roll on Spring proper!
