Oddity

I've never seen trees of different species growing together like this.
Today is my birthday and it's 14 years since I got my first digital camera and joined Blip. We took the day off and went to Pitlochry for a walk - unfortunately the sun and warmth had  been replaced by a very cold wind. Nevertheless, we went for a walk along the Garry almost to Killiecrankie, and back. There were daffodils just coming out but not much else in the way of flowers, though we saw a variety of birds.
The odd tree was seen near the end and the extra shows some fine oaks and the Garry from the footbridge.
We stopped 3 times on the way home, once for food, once to but a map (they didn't have the one we wanted so we bought a book and socks instead) and the third time to spend the garden vouchers that were part of my birthday present.
I still went for a run with the group and had some nice views as the clouds were clearing to show moon, stars and the sunset.
