Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

Ducky Lucky!

I had a bit of a chase around this afternoon.
I had to be at Josie's nursery for 2pm for a stay and play. Parents are invited to spend an hour in the nursery with their children to see what they get up to.
Ali was working, so I was allowed to go in her place. We read stories, did some colouring and drawing and I had fun chatting to some of Josie's classmates. By special permission Ali was allowed to pop in for 10 minutes at the end after her own pupils had gone home. The school she teaches in is less than 5 minutes walk away, so that worked very well.
Next stop was a Drs appointment along at Murrayfield. Our practice is right at the entrance to Murrayfield and the ice rink, so I always enjoy a wander across the two bridges there to check out the river life.
There was a young boy with his mum feeding the ducks and swans from one of the bridges and as you can see the Goosanders and Mallards were worried they might be missing out!
Next stop was the Rectory to check what had been done in my absence. The new vertical radiator is in place and looks very smart. The rest is about to start happening at the end of the month. Final visit to the warehouse and designer to check over the plans on Wednesday then it's all systems go!
I decided not to go to bridge this evening, I'm still tired at the end of the day and definitely not up to concentrating for two hours. Next week!
