Orange Grove

Even one of England’s most beautiful cities looks a bit grim on a cloud heavy morning. My early walk did not achieve great blippage but I do think this very old rank of houses (above shops) deserves a closer look. The mini porticos (?) above the windows, the architectural shapes and paint detailing, all so well preserved. The date on the drainpipe is 1706. Orange Grove is very close to Bath Abbey.

After coffee, porridge and 40 minutes of writing at ‘Pret’, I picked up my hire car and drive to the office. Now at Friend R’s.
