Wild life (!)
This night on my walk with Caspar I heard a big animal jump/fall into the Gersprenz. With the help of my torch light I could see one nutria (aka. coypu) swim away. But the other one, in my entry, stayed put. He went a bit to the left, a bit to the right, or gazed at me. I know we have at least one beaver in this part of the Gersprenz, and assumed we have nutrias too, but I hadn't seen latter yet. Fascinating!
Earlier this day, again with Caspar, I found a part of a roe deer leg left behind. According to D. this might have been left behind by an ordinary hunter, to attract wild boars. I was rather thinking of either a poacher, or some animal. It was the second roe deer part I found in our area within a few weeks.
