Hellfire Pass

In Thailand and Burma during World War II, the occupying Japanese army forced allied prisoners of war and indentured Asian ‘slave labourers’ to build many hundreds of km of railway, including this rock cutting known as Hellfire Pass. Our visit today was a moving experience.
