Another Day

By BlackTulip

Hopping mad

The temperature has dropped considerably and there's only been intermittent sunshine, so not a pleasant day to do any gardening.

I went up to the post office this morning to send a card to an old friend who lives in Basel and then sat around doing a Samurai Soduku.

The tree surgeon called round at lunchtime to see whether it was dry enough to get his truck into the orchard on Thursday and Friday, when he is going to cut a third off the top of the four lime trees.  He's going to shred what he can and leave the chippings for us to distribute around the apple trees.

The sparrowhawk has been in twice today (that I've seen) and although I have lots of images of him standing still, I thought I'd show one of him making a move.  I need to set my camera to a pro-capture mode to get him sharp but that's to experiment with another day.

Camera club competition tonight.
