Alias

Today would've been my father's 71st birthday. It was lovely to receive these beautiful flowers & message from my friends at work.

As I didn't answer my door within 5 seconds (having pulled the door handle off of the door of the room I was in & being, well, trapped), my neighbour helpfully took delivery of the flowers for me & posted a wee note to let me know. A wee note addressed to 'Carol'. Since I didn't correct her at any of the multiple opportunities during our conversation, I'll just have to be 'Carol'.

The flowers did have my actual name on the card.
