Precise work - ship crosses road . . .
The cargo vessel Wilson Main is threading its way to the Bentinck Dock along a narrow channel over which the road normally passes over a swing bridge. I think the vessel is coming to collect scrap metal which is heaped up, out of shot, way to the left.
The extra shows the vessel, about 20 minutes earlier, making its way into the dock area from the tidal river Great Ouse. It's high tide, 6.4 metres, the height of high tide varies and can be just over 8 metres at its maximum.
The map in satellite view gives a good overview of the docks, the river, and if you zoom out the sea.
