Out and About

Sedgwick Hill Bridge

Tuesdays walk took us along the upper ( and dry) reaches of the Lancaster Canal and back down the River Kent in a loop from Levens Hall. This is bridge #177 which I seem not to have Blipped before. The stretch of canal between here and Sedgwick  was originally filled in with rubbish from Kendal but it's now been adopted as a nature reserve by the people of Sedgwick. It's just a boggy ditch now but a haven for wildlife.
