Petals (Day 3592)

Back to the bathroom re-fit this morning, and the plan was to get the vanity unit and basin fitted. It was all going pretty well until I decided that I would fill the gaps in the flooring around the pipes. My plan to use expanding foam went a bit wrong when I took the "old can" of foam off the applicator gun. Normally they self seal, but this didn't and squirted foam all over the place. I managed to control it and got it in a bag, but I got a bit on the wall and on some of my tools. it could have been much worse.
I had the basin and vanity and connected by lunchtime, and after lunch set about preparing to deal with the loo tomorrow. The toilet has sunk a bit in the flooring, so the floor needs to be replaced and the walls re-sheeted with plaster board before the new loo can be fitted. I managed to remove the old plasterboard without removing the toilet and removed a bit of the floor with me vacuum. It is fair to say that the floor is in poor condition.
Having done as much as I could today, I visited various suppliers to collect stuff I think I will need tomorrow before heading home to  my beautiful wife.
