Back in the water today - first time in over three weeks (!). It felt good to be back, even though the water was somewhat choppy.

At u3a bookgroup this afternoon  we discussed Winter Words (the recent book festival in Pitlochry) - events we had been to, and books that we'd read written by authors who were there. It was a really interesting. I came away with a Elizabeth Pringle by Kirsty Wark, which I'd never read .It's set on Arran where I spent many a holiday in my twenties but haven't been back since. We then digressed into a wider range  of topics over tea and biscuits/ A good afternoon.
