Lemon curd

A mixed day of sunny spells and light shower.  Headed to the Wholefood warehouse nearby for refills and supplies.

Took hound for a walk in sunshine to begin with then a light shower.  Temperature is much lower than last week.

After lunch made some lemon curd with unwaxed, Southern Italian lemons bought from the market.   Making lemon curd always reminds me of my mother who used to make it.  

Late afternoon Rafal, recommended by someone on Nextdoor came with a colleague to clear the roof gutters and mend a break.  Really lovely Polish fellows who were efficient and swift.  They will return on Thursday afternoon to clear ivy over the garage and sort those gutters.  A boon as neither Mr or I are keen on ladders.
