Along the River

This morning we decided to make the most of the sunny weather and go and get a blip before the forecasted rain arrived. It was sunny but there was a rather cold wind but we braved it and went for a very long walk along the river cycle track which took us as far as Washingborough.
We spotted to Little egrets so I decided to try and get closer to them and grab a few shots. This is 1 of them on the banks of the drain before it flew off on the walk back we saw a further 5 nearer Lincoln .
WE arrived back home just in time as the rain then arrived so well worth going out for the blip in the morning. 
Once home some lunch and then a few housework jobs done .
A relaxed evening after a lovely tea of sausages, mash,  carrots and Yorkshire puddings we are now watching a stream of Liverpool V PSG
