They came in their thousands ….

Day one of the races was chilly. It was also, predictably, very busy. We thought we would get into town by bus ahead of the rush but … an hour later we finally reached the High Street! With almost everyone by now at Prestbury Park we had a very successful shopping expedition and a lovely quiet lunch. Home before the race exit rush to prepare for some training calls with trainee volunteers this evening.
