Patient had a one month history of patchy vision in one eye
BAM!
Full thickness macula hole :(
However, with the beauty of WhatsApp to the best retinal guy in Edinburgh and she’s booked in for a consultation tomorrow and surgery to repair on 25th March. Precarious op but some hope we can restore her vision which in days gone by would be disaster beyond saving.

More pathology in the evening. With a CPD meeting on Lids and lumps back at Spire where I used to work. Great to see old colleagues again, if slightly weird to be there under a different guise. No regrets.
